EWAC Medical specializes in developing, manufacturing, and maintaining high-quality hydrotherapy systems for rehabilitation. Our products are used worldwide in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. From our facility in Heerhugowaard, we work with a dedicated team on innovative solutions to improve healthcare.
Your responsibilities
As a Service Engineer at EWAC Medical, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our advanced rehabilitation and hydrotherapy systems. Your work will take place both nationally and internationally.
Internationally, you will travel for approximately 12 weeks per year, in periods of 1 to a maximum of 3 weeks. During these trips, you will perform installations and maintenance at customer sites around the world.
When not traveling, you will conduct maintenance at customer locations within the Netherlands or work at our modern workshop in Heerhugowaard, where you will assemble new installations for shipment abroad.
Your tasks include:

Installing and commissioning new systems, both on-site and in the factory

Performing scheduled maintenance and service visits domestically and internationally

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical (W) and electrical (E) components

Customer communication and providing technical instructions or training

Documenting your work and reporting back to project teams
Your profile

MBO degree (secondary vocational education) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics

Experience as a service engineer or technician is a plus

Willingness to travel internationally (short periods)

Driver’s license B (E behind B is a plus, but not required)

Independent, solution-oriented, and customer-friendly attitude
-
Good command of Dutch and basic English skills

VCA Basic certification is a plus, but not required

Forklift license is a plus, but not required
