From the first idea onward, EWAC Medical helps you transform clinical needs into a feasible hydrotherapy concept. Together with your medical and technical teams, we analyse patient groups, treatment goals, building constraints and budget. Based on this, we develop preliminary layouts, water depths, treatment zones and equipment concepts that align with current guidelines and best practices in aquatic rehabilitation. The result is a clear, realistic concept design that forms a solid basis for engineering and investment decisions.
Engineering
Our in-house engineering team converts the approved concept into a detailed technical design. We integrate structural design, water hydraulics, filtration, climate control, safety systems and movable floor technology into one coherent solution. Throughout the process we coordinate with architects, consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration into the building design. All engineering work is based on international standards and medical regulations, so your hydrotherapy installation is safe, durable and future-proof.
Manufacturing
EWAC Medical manufactures its key components in-house, using medical-grade materials and dedicated production processes for hydrotherapy environments. Movable floors, modular pools and underwater exercise equipment are built by skilled technicians and undergo strict quality controls and functional testing before shipment. Our manufacturing is certified according to relevant ISO and medical device standards, ensuring consistent quality and traceability throughout the entire production chain.
Onsite installation
Our installation teams bring the design to life on site, working closely with local contractors and pool builders. EWAC Medical coordinates the installation of structural elements, movable floors, technical equipment and control systems, always with a strong focus on safety and cleanliness. We plan our work to minimise downtime and disruption to your facility. Whether it concerns a new build or a refurbishment project, we ensure a smooth, predictable installation process.
Testing and commission
Before your hydrotherapy pool is handed over, EWAC Medical performs comprehensive testing and commissioning. We check all mechanical and hydraulic systems, verify safety functions, test water circulation and filtration and fine-tune the control settings. During commissioning we train your staff in daily operation, safety procedures and basic troubleshooting. At handover you receive complete documentation, including test reports and maintenance guidance, so you can start treating patients with confidence from day one.
Service & Maintenance / Technical education
Hydrotherapy installations require specialised service to remain safe and reliable throughout their lifetime. EWAC Medical provides preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs for movable floors, pool structures, water treatment systems and control panels. Our service engineers are trained in both mechanical and hydraulic systems and use original EWAC Medical parts. In addition, we offer technical training for your facility staff, so they understand how to operate the system correctly, recognise early warning signals and perform basic maintenance tasks themselves.
Custom training with world class trainers
To get the most out of your hydrotherapy facilities, EWAC Medical organises customised clinical training programmes in collaboration with leading international experts in aquatic therapy.
